To create customized events in User Experience Analytics

we would want to track the performance of the ServiceNow forms, wanted to leverage UI, however OOTB doesn't have multiple events related to catalog items.

I am not a technical person to create event, would want to know basic requirements to create an event and related properties.

Is there any other way to track the performance other than creating the new event
