Indicator Source : Daily
Job : Daily.
Widget timeline : By monthly sum +
Widget visualization : Line
I ran the historical job for Closed Tickets.
Result : It seems like the scores collected daily are being summed up and showing a very high number which is incorrect.
Result Example : Jan 28k, Feb : 30K, ..
if I change the timeline to daily instead of monthly sum then this is the result
Example : 1 April 2500. 2nd April : 2500.. same score is displayed +
Will changing the job to monthly fix the issue?
Second challenge :
Note : Same indicator job is used to show Daily scores of another report.
If I change this to Monthly then that will have an impact.

Hi Commando,
Just to confirm, your Indicator Source should be declaring the following Condition:
- Closed on Today
Creating an Indictor against this source will create a daily count of Incidents closed. For reference, your collection job should be set to daily.
When it comes to widgets, you can then apply a timeseries to aggregate that daily count into whatever is required: weekly, monthly etc.
Thanks,
DJL

Hi Commando,
That is correct, when you apply a SUM or SUM+ it'll sum the values.
However, you would never want to apply a sum to a daily count of open incidents - you should only ever show the latest value. It is the intraday movement of that value which illustrates the rate of change.
Thanks,

Hi Commando,
Just to be sure, what is it exactly you would like to show in the widget?
Incidents, RITMs etc.?
Daily or monthly sum?
Closed, Created or Open tickets?
