Data Visualizations - Domain visibility issue

Looking at the link, https://[instance].service-now.com/now/platform-analytics-workspace/data-visualization-library

it only shows items on global domain, it doesnt show anything on a lower domain. i have tried to change domains, but still dont see those reports.

I do see those reports on, https://[instance].service-now.com/now/nav/ui/classic/params/target/par_visualization_list.do, but cant open the record and see the report that way.

Anyone else have this problem? Am i doing something wrong? Is this something that is going to be looked at on the roadmap?

This sounds like a known issue. Please ask your admin to report a case to ServiceNow technical support.

I created a HI case on this based off your suggestion, and was told today, "After further review of this behavior in an OOB instance I am able to confirm this is out-of-box behavior for the Data Visualization Library where even specifying the domain via the Domain Scope Picker records only in the "Global" domain are listed in then Data Visualization Library......To view a record in the Visualization Designer which does not appear in the Data Visualization Library list view, you can navigate directly to the Visualization Designer via URL and specifying the sysId for the specific visualization" .

So how are my users and myself supposed to know what the URL is?
1. Go to the to par_visualization
2. find the DV you want.
3. open it copy the sys_id (which users aren't going to know how to do)
4. go to DV and open an existing report
5. paste the sys_id in the url replacing the other one

This isn't an acceptable solution.

@Thomas_Davis @Dan_Kane  --- maybe you guys can shed some light on this problem?

Hi Kristin, I'm going to lookup the issue and see where the fix is in the pipeline.
