Hi,
We have requirement to capture the state field value duration in Risk events table and do the reporting on the same . I know this can be achieved through OOTB metric definition and creating Database view. But client requirement is to achieve this PA (Performance analytics). I am new to PA can someone tell me if this is possible through PA and some guide to this? which is best approach PA or OOTB Metrics?
Regards,
Divya Lakshmi

Hi @divyalakshmi ,
It's not the purpose of PA, hence you should tell the client that PA is for taking snapshots of data according to interval for reporting and trending purpose. As @James Chun already highlighted, Metrics would be the right place to go. afterwards PA can be created based on the metric of needed.

Hi @divyalakshmi,
Metric would be the right answer here as PA only takes a snapshot of records daily and it's not designed to capture how long it takes for a value to change.
Cheers
