Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a way to download or export a Flow Designer flow as documentation (for example, a PDF, XML, JSON, or any readable format).
I’ve been exporting a PDF by using Ctrl+A and then Ctrl+P, but I have to manually expand every artifact, and the subflows don’t open in the PDF.
Is there any best practice or plugin available to improve this?
Thanks!

Hi there,
Within Flow Designer, you can toggle over to the diagram view on the upper right
You will see an option to download the flow in the lower left
Unfortunately, I don't think there is a download option for the other view.
Hope this helps.

We can download only in png format. @Joe Wong suggested the correct steps.
This feature was introduced 3-4 releases back by ServiceNow.

Hi Geraldina,
Wow, that is a long flow. I have picked out a semi long flow from my PDI, here is it in full view
Just like yours it is not legible. Have you tried zooming in, the picture file I download can be zoomed in quite a bit and it becomes legible.
This is the same file as the first one but at 100% zoom instead of whole page view. Depending on how you want to document this, you might want to cut up the flow to smaller parts in your documentation.
Let me know if this helps.
