How to compare a "Date/Time" field with "Date" type field in a report?

Hi all,

I'm creating an IRM report using a Database View and need to compare:

Policy Exception "valid_to" — (Date/Time)

vs

Risk Acceptance Task  "acceptance_end_date" — (Date)

The Database View works correctly. However, in the report condition builder, when I select:

Valid To → is different → Day as Acceptance End Date, is not available for comparison (I believe that's because the type fields are different).

What's the best way in 2026 to compare these two fields by calendar date only and return records where the dates are different?

You're right in identifying the root cause.
