How to export filtered reports ?

Hello, I have the following scenario not working in OOTB environment when exporting filtered reports

  1. Go to dashboard Example Interactive Filters Incident ( its OOTB)
  2. From the second report . Try to export the incidents
    • Right Click on priority or any   other column label
    • Export > select any of the options
    • Then the export will be completed
    • find_real_file.png
  3. Now from the right side filter by priority 1
  4. Wait the list to refresh
  5. Then do the same steps from step 2 to try export the information.


Result: nothing will happen. The export is not done and no message is displayed.


Did someone found a solution to this behavior as it looks like its a bug   or malfunction .   Thanks in advance.

Hi, Support team was able to successfully reproduce this issue from a baseline Jakarta release version of the platform. This being the case they have created a problem ticket.

Performed the steps as stated above & all worked well.


Could you try it again by getting cache of browser done or in some other browser.


Hi Jaspal, Thanks for the reply. I have tested couple of different browsers and also deleted the cache before and now as well just to be sure.


the result is the same. I can reproduce this on different machines with all kind of instances (Helsinki,Istanbul ,Jakarta).



Again the problem is after I filter the records using the filter option on the right side ( the filter widget). Else   it works perfectly fine .

As you can see on the screenshot   after filtering i can see only P1 incidents. Now if i right - click on the Priority column > Export >   PDF ( for example but its all the same for all options) nothing happens.



Let me know if you have other suggestions thanks.


Since I could not replicate the same in any of instances.



Only option I feel will be to try by getting cache of instance cleared by using /cache.do at the end of URL & then press enter.

I have tried the same in my demo instance it's working as expected,and i can able to export the data below the screen shot.

Please clear the cache in the instance try once again,


For clearing the cache just type "Cache.do" in navigator and just hit the enter it will work.
