Have created Dashboard and trying to add Widget from Report. When we add Widget from Report as a Multilevel Pivot or pie chart,it is adding Vertical Scroll Bar as default. There are two vertical scrollbar which are appearing default which is not looking good.Is there any way to get rid of these vertical scroll bar on Dashboard.

If same Report is captured on Home Page, these vertical scroll bar are not coming.

Is there any property which can be set on dashboard to get rid of these vertical scrollbar?

Hi stefaan1,

I'm working with San Diego and Utah releases and using a Responsive Dashboard.

And I just figured out the problem here. It was not related to dashboards or widgets but my monitor setup instead, so I wanted to share this in case someone else is facing the same issue.

So... my primary monitor has 4K resolution, and to improve readability, I've set up the "Scale and layout" / "Change the size of text, apps, and other items" to 150%.

This scaling made some of the elements too big within the widget frame and caused the horizontal scrollbar to appear. When I change the scaling back to 100%, the scroll bars disappear 😉

Hi Mikkojuola,

From your screenshot I understand that you used the Windows OS display settings.

Using text scaling on MacOS doesn't cause any side effects on those widgets when using Chrome, but did when using FireFox, which means it's going to depend on the operating system + browser combination.

SN supports browser zooming up to 200% (the browser's own zoom feature) but we can't control how the operating systems influences browsers. When we define a margin to be 10 pixels, we expect a 150% zoom factor to scale it to 15 pixels, not 16. We've noticed that some browers occasionally make rounding errors which can translate to scrollbars.

Zoom support is especially important to us because it's very much used as an accessibility feature for visually impaired users, and we want our products to be as accessible as possible.

I'll share your example with the team responsible for those widgets.

Hi Stefaan1,

Yeah that makes sense for me too - I have scaling set to 125% and am using Edge version 107.0.1418.26 and for my default dashboard I get scrollbars at 67% and 75% zoom within Edge, but the scaling works fine otherwise.

I've set the page zoom to 80% and have finally got rid of the ugly bars!
