Hello Everybody,
I would like to know how to manage to see my TAGS on a report in 2 différents table (INCIDENT and Req).
In fact, in my instance ServiceNow i can see my Tags ( Screenshot below : "Télétravail") directly on the table REQ (Éléments demandés = Table Requested Item).
But when i create a reporting and i want to get my 2 TAGS related from my 2 RITM, i can't see them (screenshot below)
Other question, i want to give the right for a user to editing TAGS. I gave already the role "tags_admin" to my user, but it can't see the "TAG" in the application menu to the left (screenshot below). Can you explain me how to give the right for editing TAGS without give it to him the role ADMIN ???
Can you help me for resolve those issues please ?
Thanks by advance for your time and your help,
Best regards,
Florent

In my Jakarta instance, "My Tags" has not role restrictions so everyone should see it as long as they have access to the Self-Service application. Could this have been customized for your instance?
As for it now showing up, I can't recreate the issue on Jakarta. I can't seem to find a PRB for this but it may have been fixed along with something else. You may want to put in an incident for this to get some assistance.

For tags management, there are two roles to look at:
- global_tags_creator - This role grants permission to create global tags
- tags_admin -This role grants permission to administer any user's or group's tags and set up global tags
Although I'm not sure if the user needs any roles if they don't to make tags global. I believe you can change the visibility of tags via the "My Tags module".
I'm not sure why the tags aren't showing up in the report. What version are you running? Do you have the same behavior in the Report Designer?

I gave the 2 roles to my users but nothing apparear on the left (navigation menu)... Tags are visible for "EveryOne" (Screenshot below) and "standard".
And i don't understand why when i impersonate in my user i can't see the module TAG ?
The current version, i'm running is Helsinki, i have the same behavior in the report designer.
Maybe it's because the 2 roles for the field "inherited" is to "false" ? Do U know how can i change this "lock field" (screenshot below) ?
Thanks for your help Adam,

Do you have a module on your instance "My Tags"? The "Tag" module in the system definition application would be restricted, but I have an OOTB module "My Tags" that has no role restrictions at all. It is under Self-Service.
To clarify, the tags do not show up for anyone (even an admin) in the report builder but they do show up on the list view?

Yes, i have the module "Tags" and "My tags" but only because i'm an admin.
If i impersonate in my user, i can't see anything.
Concerning your last question, Yes it's exaclty that ! I don't understand why ?
Thanks for your help,
Have great week-end,
