Inability to Stack By a Certain Field(s)

Hi All, 
We're trying to build a bar chart report that shows Mac Computers that are out of support, by support group. We are reporting on cmdb_ci_computer, grouping by computer.support group, and we are trying to stack by computer.os_version, however the listing for computer.os_version is not available to be selected. Why is this?

That is because OS Version is a free text field.

"Note: Available Stacked by fields are limited to catalog variables, reference fields, choice lists, and boolean values. Date/time, integer, long, string, and text fields cannot be used as stacked fields."
