is it possible to access database view created in another scope to be available in the list of fact table field in indicator source

Hi Harshita,

I just tried this and here are the observations:

I don't think you can access the database views as facts table if the scope is different.

1) Database View in Custom scope

a) when trying to create indicator source in Global scope I was not able to search this database view as Facts table

2) Database view in Custom scope

a) when trying to create indicator source in custom scope I was able to search database view in Facts table

I believe you can only access those database views in Facts table that are in same scope as in Indicator source.

Since database view is not a table actually in sys_db_object Table you cannot set the Application Access Settings.

Even I tried creating cross scope privilege record but it didn't work for case 1.

If found anything will mention here later on.

I am sure you will agree there are few best practices (ex: creating duplicate profile, copying the same response, etc..) which are not followed by very **few** members. Again this is something community team is aware of it and they are working hard to fix this things in the future. Thank you.
