Am I missing something? ServiceNow is pushing everything to the workspaces/next experience, but I can't seem to find a way to have reports link to SOW. They all end up in the old backend. Do we really need to maintain multiple views/experiences because we get a new way of dashboarding (which means that 2 new things aren't aligned)?
Have they really overlooked this at ServiceNow?

No, you aren't missing anything. This is a huge oversight. We move everything to the new experiences, but if you click on a new experience dashboard graph, you end up in the old ui.
I really hope this gets changed soon.
I can tell you one thing: I installed Yokohama RTP and it is still the same, so no solution there (and a whole lot of new bugs introduced), so they have their work cut out for them for the Zurich release.

We are a relatively new customer to ServiceNow so we went live with SOW, but gaps like you mention in Platform Analytics that doesn't give me the option to select the record viewer GUI (ClassicUI or SOW) - this really sucks and brings some of my agents into Classic UI (which I don't want).
That's the problem with the plugin methodology, the Plugin dev teams seem to work / test in isolation whereas the platform users work across the platform.

Yep. That's exactly the biggest issue with ServiceNow at this moment.
And related to PAE: I have been giving demos and been writing blogs and instructions for a lot of our customers and they are all very enthusiastic when I show them what it looks like and how it works creating reports and dashboards, even though for some it will be getting used to, but when the questions start the celebration quickly turns into a wake, because the basic functionality every one expects, simply isn't there yet. But ServiceNow does force people to start using it, without it being ready.
PAE is (mandatory) platform functionality, but even that is delivered as store app with all kinds of plugins and isn't (fully) working with other parts of the platform. It's time ServiceNow decides to go one way and makes it mandatory for their teams to only develop towards that way and if they can't (yet), they shouldn't be allowed to release it. And certainly not replace existing functionality.
The fact that it 'currently also isn't possible' does not enable me to explain why a huge transition from reporting to PAE also doesn't provide the solution.

Hi @Mark Manders,
we are working to deliver in Zurich the option to navigate to the Next experience/Workspace UI list and forms from Platform Analytics pages.
We are working with the List team to understand when the Next Experience List and Forms will be made available for all the users instead of the Core UI version and when we will be able to drill-down to the view of the list that was selected as "default" by the user.
If you have your own Workspace you can configure in that workspace to redirect to the Workspace list and forms page instead of using the default redirection from the Dashboard component.

At the moment there is only one option to Redirect a report, and only seems to work with simple reports eg. Single Score. The above is defined via the Report tree icon on the right, when editing a report. Then click the URL link icon.
To get the URL, go to to the Workspace, relevant table All menu item, example Incident > All or go to a table menu item and clear the filter and apply. Open the filter and re-create the filter as in the report and apply. Then copy the URL with / after the instance base url, and paste that in to the URL line item shown in the screenshot. Save report and test.

This question was about PAE data visualizations, not about the classic reports. There is still no solution for that.
