Remote Table Reporting

Hi everyone. I'm looking into Remote Tables and reporting against them but running into some issues when attempting to use a scripted condition.

What I have: I have a remote table that pulls ATF Test Results from a secondary system. It pulls the test name, start/end date, duration, status and sys_id.

What I'm trying to do: I want a report that will just show me the status of the latest run of each Test case. In order to make that work, I have created a script include (client callable and Sandbox enabled) that aggregates the list, then pulls the record with the most recent run time. This record's sys_id is pushed into an array and the script continues with each 'group' of tests that it finds. Testing the script include from a background script shows that it is returning fine ie I get a comma separated list of sys_id's, 1 for each test type.

What's happening: When I attempt to use this script include in a report or Platform Analytics Data Source (eg Sys ID is one of javascript: new <script_include>().<function>()), it is returning 0 results even though it shows the condition as being 'Sys Id IN <sys_id1, sys_id2>'. If I try the exact same thing but against the local incident table, it works fine and I can see the results in the report.

Is there something else that needs to be done to get this working against Remote Tables or is this a known limitation of them? General reporting and filtering works just fine, just the scripted filter conditions appear to be non-functional.
