Report: Compare Last Month to Same Month One Year Ago

Hello,

I am attempting to create a dashboard for monthly reporting with various reports showing information from the last month compared to that same month one year prior.  I assumed I could use Created > Relative > and then adjust the date.  However, this is not working.  

I prefer not to adjust a myriad of reports each month to meet this date criteria.  Is there a way to set reporting to look at an entire month one year prior to the last month?

Example Reports

✅Incident Volume Last Month (August 2025)

❓Incident Volume Last Year for Comparison(August 2024)

Any help you might provide is greatly appreciated.

Hi @Heather Henders ,

 you need to combine to reports eg bar chat in same graph. One would have created this year by month. The other would have created last year by month. This should give you the result that you’re looking for.
