Platform Analytics is a comprehensive analytics solution introduced by ServiceNow in the Tokyo release, designed to centralize performance analytics, user experience analytics, and reporting in one location.
Migrate Dashboard:
To migrate dashboads to new version (Platform Analytics) from older version (Performance analytics):
- Go to pa_dashboards, there is an option ‘Migrate Dashboard’ in list view.
- Select dashboard you want to migrate and click on the 'Migrate Dashboard’ option.
This message will appear:
- After migration of dashboard, its older version will be de-activated.
Below message will be shown on the dashboard view:
Rollback Dashboard:
To Rollback dashboads from new version (Platform Analytics) to older version (Performance analytics):
- Go to pa_dashboards, there is an option ‘Rollback’ in list view.
- Select dashboard you want to rollback and click on the 'Rollback’ option.
After rollback this message will appear:
Note:
- Servicenow only allow to partially migrate the Dashboards from CoreUI to Platform Analytics, not reports or pa widgets singularly.
- Most dashboard content is migrated to the new Platform Analytics.
- Some visualizations, aspects of visualizations, and filters are inserted in the migrated dashboard as embedded content (iframes).
- Some configurations are not migrated at all.

If you want to be complete, why not include the Migration Center? That does move everything from old to PAE.
