I am new to performance analytics. I have created the formula indicators, I have run the jobs to gather data successfully, yet, the forumlat indicators return "no data available" when I look at the score card. I am obviouly doing something wrong but do not have a clue as to what it is. Thanks.

Hi Sally,
Check the More Info tab on the detailed scorecard (go to scorecards and select a formula indicator)
Here you'll see the indicators used for this formula. By clicking on the indicators used you can see if they have data in it. If they don't then there is your answer.
If the numerator of the formula doesn't have data its like excel (div/0), it doesn't show data.
Cheers,
Vincent

Thank you Vincent. When I did that, there was no data. So I went to the job logs and found that there were no inserts. So I went to the job and found that 8 records appear to have been selected for both indicators used in the formula indicator. I have data collection, admin and power user privileges. If a job is run multiple times, creating multiple data collections, does PA get confused? Thanks again!

Hi Sally,
If you run jobs multiple times over the same period it just overwrites the old values. So you loose the old data. Therefore be careful with running historical views several times, as it could end up in loosing data.
Cheers,
Vincent

This may be a generic thing for Widgets but it seems important to ensure the Time Series is correctly defined
For instance, I am tracking SLAs on a month by month basis - my indicators for the widgets were set to blank time series and so they defaulted to Daily which meant, no data for yesterday. When I clicked in to analyse further I could see the data was there but so the best option for me atm is "By Month AVG +"
