One of the advantages to doing anything on the ServiceNow platform is that you have an ever growing landscape of capabilities at your disposal to create eloquent solutions to meet your business needs.
ServiceNow’s Process Mining plays a key role in helping you identify opportunities to improve your business processes and transform you organization through the use of different platform capabilities, but Process Mining itself can benefit from the “power of the platform”
In the Vancouver release we expanded our capabilities to allow customers to import process data from external applications to the ServiceNow platform and then apply our in-platform Process Mining to that external process data. Learn more here.
Typically, a customer will import that external process data in the form of an excel or csv file. But they aren’t limited to that.
In the recording below my friend and colleague Bhumi Mangukiya steps through the process of using the combination of ERP Canvas and Flow Designer to extract Accounts Receivable data from SAP and then apply Process Mining to identify opportunities to improve the process.
