New integrations for SaaS License Management 

In response to COVID-19 and the drive toward digital transformation, companies are using more SaaS than ever. Gartner even predicts the global SaaS spend to grow to $117.7 billion in 2021. To help our customers gain control over their growing list of SaaS applications, ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) introduces even more integrations with the software you use most often. 

New integrations in SaaS License Management are available OOTB and provide actions to view and analyze meaningful usage data for Calendly, Miro, Aha, Monday.com, SurveyMonkey, and Trello software subscriptions. 

Aha! 

Aha! is a product management suite to set strategy, capture ideas, score features, and share visual plans.  View all users of paid and free subscriptions and reclaim based on last activity usage data. Analyze activities performed on the portal (ie: login, create, modify, strategies, features, roadmaps , etc) and automate reclamation workflow to reclaim stale users.

Calendly 

Calendly is an app for scheduling appointments, meetings, and events. Analyze scheduled events to determine last usage activity and initiate reclamation workflow to reclaim stale user subscriptions.  

Miro 

Miro is an online collaborative whiteboard for cross-functional teams. Analyze user access or updates to boards and automate reclamation workflow to reclaim stale users.  

Monday.com 

Monday.com is a visual platform for planning, organizing, and tracking work. Analyze user activity for updated card content & board activity (add, change or remove note, etc) and automate reclamation workflow to reclaim stale users.

SurveyMonkey 

SurveyMonkey is a surveying platform. Analyze 26 action types for users such as creating surveys, managing respondents, or editing surveys and automate reclamation workflow to reclaim stale users .

Trello 

Trello is a visual collaboration tool for work management. Analyze last login date and downgrade stale users from an Enterprise license to a Standard license via automated reclamation workflow.

What’s new in the store for Cloud Insights 

Cloud Insights helps customers gain visibility and control of cloud spend and usage with insights on total cloud costs, areas of savings opportunities, and potential waste. Customers can accurately monitor cloud consumption with automated recommendations and rationalization suggestions to optimize cloud spend and deliver cloud services faster. 

The following are available starting in the Quebec release. 

Tag Categories 

Tag categories provide the ability to normalize tags in your environment to simplify and make cloud cost reporting easier.  Flexible, configurable categories classify cloud resources, bringing standardization to where none existed.    

If you use ServiceNow® Discovery, Cloud Insights leverages this data to classify cloud resources. And if you don’t currently use Discovery, Cloud Insights can still leverage billing reports and similar sources for classification.  

Tag reports 

Accurately report on cloud costs and analyze cloud spend data by the normalized tag categories. Simplifying filtering and grouping by specific owners, cost centers, business services, applications, and other defined categories.
