Optimize IBM licensing through the Anglepoint IASP application
ServiceNow Software Asset Management helps simplify IBM license management by bringing together ServiceNow Discovery and the IBM publisher pack to identify, manage, and optimize IBM costs and utilization for transparent, adaptive operations. The IBM publisher pack helps monitor access and license usage across your IBM software estate to reduce costs and minimize compliance risk with a centralized view of your IBM environment. When non-compliant, embed automated workflows into your IBM management strategy to quickly reclaim or reallocate stale licenses.
The IBM License Compliance for Software Asset Management solution, available in the ServiceNow Store, connects ServiceNow Discovery and the Software Asset Management publisher pack for IBM with the IBM Authorized SAM Provider (IASP) platform to discover, classify, and report IBM licensing without having to integrate with ILMT or BigFix Inventory. This means, under the IASP program and leveraging the ServiceNow platform, you’ll be able to report on your Effective License Position (ELP) directly.
The IASP applications are built in partnership with the IASP to connect the IASP platform, partner services, and the Now Platform. Use of this solution requires an active IASP service. New users will be prompted to sign up for IASP services upon download of the partner app.
The Anglepoint IASP application, the Software Asset Management publisher pack for IBM integrates with the Anglepoint Elevate® platform to report on IBM licensing without requiring an IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT) or BigFix Inventory integration.

Asset Donation flow
Automate technology donations to charities with workflow
Manage the entire asset donation process, from request to confirmation, with a complete, automated workflow. Employees or an asset manager can make a request for asset donation from the Service Catalog. Once approved, the asset is then prepared for donation and the asset manager can add specific tasks to donation orders such as a data wipe or sending to packaging. Pick-up is then scheduled for departure. Acknowledgement confirmation from the charitable organization is attached to the donation order before it is closed, helping ensure proper documentation that the donation was received.
