Adding Microsoft Copilot Usage to SAM Pro and Setting Up Reclaim Rules

Hi everyone,

We are on Washington right now.

We’re currently on the Washington release of ServiceNow, and I’m looking to integrate Microsoft Copilot Usage into SAM Pro. Specifically, I’d like to:

Track and manage usage in SAM Pro.
Set up Reclaim Rules for Microsoft Copilot.
Here’s what we have in place so far:

Microsoft O365 Integration is already configured.
Reclaim Rules for O365 were set up as part of the integration process.
Has anyone successfully added Microsoft Copilot usage to SAM Pro and configured reclaim rules? If so, I’d appreciate any guidance on the steps involved or tips to make this process smooth.

Hi @Lenny Williams,

please wait until your instances are upgrade to Xanadu to use one of the new features of this release.

If the upgrade is pending, you can upload the usage data yourself using an import set based on the CoPilot report and store it in the samp_sw_usage table for CoPilot (the new feature in Xanadu doesn't do anything more than that).

Upload the Microsoft 365 Copilot, Visio Online, and Project Online usage reports to your ServiceNow instance
Monitor the usage activity data for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Visio Online, and Project Online to identify reclamation candidates based on low usage.

@Lenny Williams, this is correct. You can upload the usage data yourself using an import set & transform map based on the CoPilot report and store it in the samp_sw_usage table for CoPilot (the new feature in Xanadu doesn't do anything more than that). You could test it by adding some records manually into the usage table

I have the same question and need. My company is on Xanadu and I've uploaded the usage reports from our MS admin center to the integration profile. Is there are scheduled job that runs to get the data from the report into the samp_sw_usage table?
