Hi,
I have not found an OOB way to do an Asset audit on consumable items. Does anyone has a solution for these scenario's:
Do a count of consumables in a certain state of a certain model in my stockroom. In Asset audit terms: Create an Asset audit on a certain consumable model or consumable models in a certain substate in a stockroom. Assign that audit towards a user. The user making use of the Agent mobile app accepts the audit, counts the consumables of that certain state in that stockroom and inputs the counted qty in the app. After closing the audit, the instance processes the results as: Logitech Optical Mouse - In stock_available: Expected qty: 35 / Counted qty: 30 and Logitech Optical Mouse - In stock_pending disposal: Expected qty: 12 / Counter qty: 19.
The data should be updated to the counted qty perhaps after a recheck.
Many thanks,
Ed

Hi Ed,
Did you ever get anywhere with this?
The fact that the mobile app requires an asset tag to scan, but the audits are looking for consumables seems like a big oversight.
I like your suggestion of counting the consumables and inputting the number, that would work well.
Kind Regards,
Scott

So we have that audit feature with HAM that only works for Hardware assets, and the quantity on the asset form is read only.
So how is one supposed to make inventory adjustements for consumables ? (without a fix script)
