Asset role

Hi, I have a question regarding asset role in SN San Diego. In docs there is an information that this role allows: manage hardware and software assets. Is manage means: create, read, update and delete?
Or is there, for assets, any specific role that allows only for: create and update but not delete?

Asset (Asset Manager) role contains the following roles:-

• category manager
• contract manager
• financial mgmt user
• inventory user

This role provides the user with capabilities to manage hardware and consumable assets ([alm_hardware] and [alm_consumable]).

The Asset manager cannot edit asset records that are created and updated automatically but can read and delete the asset records when needed.

This role also provides the capability to create requests and create and delete stock information.
