desktop CI - Software installation - I see many Discovery model for 1 product

Hi,

We use SAMpro with SCCM. Is it correct to see 3 times the same software with 3 different versions in Software installation? I think that we have to see only the current install version.

if no, what can I do?

Hi @robertbreau,

by default SAM Pro SW install table is a 1:1 copy of the connected discovery sources. In your case, the other versions for the same product are still available in the SCCM DB and linked with the computer. The SCCM team is responsible to take care of the complete software removal of older versions and the removal from all collections.

For SAM Pro each unique version is a valid active sw install records. Available deduplication process will work only for multiple inventory sources.
