Hardware Model Status to 'Retired'

Hi,

I want to know if there will be any down stream affects if we set a hardware model status to 'retired'.  Does this affect any assets currently assigned to that model?

None that I've ever seen.  Keep in mind since you mentioned San Diego release.  ServiceNow is advising to begin migrating customers to use the new CSDM lifecycles on hardware vs legacy status field
