How does web based usage is calculated on SAM?

Suppose I have a license for a desktop software and I instead of using it in the desktop I have used the application on the web or I dont have the desktop license and I used the application on the web does this data gets stored in In any of the SAM tables ? how this type of situations is handled in SAM implementation ?

Hi @kiran kumar m1,
Credentials are always required to use a web application, so you will authenticate yourself to the web application with the same data that you use in your daily work in the office, usually your e-mail or AD account.
The application you mentioned thus offers a hybrid mode of operation (desktop & web) - this is similar to M365 or Adobe. However, complete control of users and authorizations is done in the (SaaS) portal of the provider, and access and the like are also recorded there.
Your goal should therefore be to establish a connection between the portal and SAM Pro using the OOTB Direct Integrations for SaaS or the SaaS Framework, so that all the necessary information can be processed by SAM Pro... and then your logon to the desktop and the web can be recorded and reported.
