M365 Training Accounts - how to

FranckM

Hello Expert,

we have created the integration Profil for M365 and are getting all the accounts and subscription.

in the accounts we have a lot of test and trainings user which arent considered because of not mapping to normal users. those entries are in the table "Subscriptions without user".

Those should also count in the license calculation

Does anyone have a best practice here on how to consider them?

Regards

Franck

Hi @FranckM, as you already stated these accounts missing a relationship to your sys_user table records. This isn’t a problem and has no impact to your license calculation. SAM Pro calculation for SaaS integrations is based on the records in the user subscription table and does not require any linked user account. You can verify this by checking the license required by results and search for your mentioned accounts.

links user records are helpful for other SAM process, like reclamation to involve the user into the process.

hope this helps.

Best, Dennis
