I have created a purchase order for a software asset, thats been ordered. Now when I click the receive button, the screen I see does not match with what the document describes.https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/kingston-it-service-management/page/product/procurement/task/t_ReceiveAnAsset.html
Step 5d says:"Click Capture Asset tags to enter asset details. You cannot enter details for assets more than the received rights." I dont see a place where I can click capture asset tags, see screen shot below. Als, what is the source of the page (I thought it was receive_order )and how do I make Asset Tag non-mandatory?

Hi ncp,
As far as I know this isn't possible. Ever since SN moved from the old style of Source/Receive forms to this new style, we've been unable to make changes to these pages.

Thanks Andrew. Interestingly if you create the software entitlement directly, asset tag is not a required field. It doesnt make sense that they force you to enter asset tag on receipt

Yes, not sure about that inconsistency. Perhaps they're trying to impart best practice at the point of procurement?
