Hi,
In our instance for Discovery Models with Match Not Found status doesn't have Software Installations as related list inside Discovery Models, where as other Discovery Models are showing the installation records. I further checked regarding those products in installation table, i can see the installations are still there but on the discovery models they are not showing up. Is this know error in ServiceNow?
Thanks!!

Hi @MercBuilding,
please execute the following scheduled job to remove all discovery models without a software installation.
By default the jobs is executed monthly and this could be reason why you seen discovery models without installation data.
Navigate to > System Scheduler > Scheduled Jobs > Scheduled Jobs > "SAM - Delete Discovery Models if there are no related Installations"

Hi @dreinhardt ,
Thanks for the reply, but i know regarding that scheduled job which runs once in a month. But the problem is software installations are actually present but not linked on the discovery model. I wanted to understand why they are not linked even though they are present in Software Installation table.
Thanks!

Hi @MercBuilding,
could you please share a screenshot of the Discovery Model and for the same product a screenshot of the software installation, including columns for Discovery Model, Product, Edition, Normalized values etc.
By default, for each software installation a discovery model link must exist in the software installation table.
Best, Dennis

Check if the SW Installs are marked Active Install=FALSE. If there is no active install on the Discovery Model, the whole related list will be hidden
