Greetings All!
I could not able to activate any available plugins with my developer demo instance access. it was sending email. Please refer the below email. Please assist me.
"
You recently requested the "Software Asset Management Professional for Engineering Applications" plugin to be activated on your personal development instance: dev287049. Unfortunately the plugin was not activated. Please report this issue in the Instance Help section of the ServiceNow Developer Community.
Thanks for being an active member of the ServiceNow Developer Program"
Many Thanks!

Hi @TejaprakashK
This usually happens because some plugins are paid or restricted, so they can’t be activated on Personal Developer Instances (PDI) even if they show up in the list.
Only the free or public plugins listed under the “Activate Plugin” section of your developer instance can be installed. For any premium ones, activation is possible only on paid customer instances.
You can double-check this:
- Go to developer.servicenow.com
- Click on Manage my instance button on top right
- Select “Activate Plugin” to see which ones are available for your PDI.
So in short, your instance is working fine, the issue is just that the plugin you tried is restricted for PDIs.
