Uploading Bulk Software Subscription Records

Hi all,

 

Has anyone here successfully bulk-uploaded software subscription records to the samp_sw_subscription table and had those subscriptions reconcile?

 

I’ve been testing uploads for publishers that don’t currently have an integration. In the upload, we’re including the user principal name, publisher, product, and software model. We also have an entitlement created using the User Subscription license metric, pointing to the software model listed in the upload. However, none of the subscription records are being recognized as usage.

 

If anyone has any input or has encountered this before, your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Cairns ,

did you tried to use the subscription framework to integrate not supported publishers? I can imagine that additional jobs/scripts needs to be triggered to process the added data.

Hi @dreinhardt,

I don't believe we have. I will have a look into this.
One of our in house developers was actually able to get the imported subscriptions counting towards reconciliation yesterday evening. I believe it was quite a bit of scripting to get it working correctly.
