Report on purchase date

I would like to create a report that shows the number of assets purchased before a date and after this same date.
I don't see how to proceed

In which table have you listed the purchased date?

Ok, then you can just create a report through the report designer with the condition "purchased before XXXX date" or/and "purchased after XXXX date"
