Hi
Has anyone seen this error message when trying to delete a Software Model in SAM Pro (San Diego) and can advise what could be causing it and how to resolve it please?

Hey there Bugner,
Those errors are telling you there are Service Catalog Items present that reference these software models. If you delete the model, it will break the Service Catalog item. If you wish to remove these models, you must first remove the Service Catalog items that reference them or change the link between them to reference a different SW Model.
Here's a screenshot of a Service Catalog item for MS Access. I've circled the Model link. This is what you'll want to change if you do not wish to fully remove the software from the catalog.
Note also, the link to the Catalog Item on the Product Catalog tab of the SW Model record.

Thank you Daniel and thanks for the quick reply!!
This is what I was expecting and I have now confirmed this by looking in sc_cat_item_list.do and I can see the exact software model in question. The interesting thing, and what confused me, is when I check the software model, as per your MS Access SW Model screenshot example, I cannot see anything in the Product Catalog tab to indicate it has been published.

My Catalog Item was created from the SW Model using the Publish to Software Catalog link type UI action found on the model record. It could be that your catalog items were created manually and then linked back to the SW model, thus some of the data on the SW Model wasn't generated.
