Hello all,
I hope you are doing well?
I would like to take the opportunity to ask a question to the community.
We currently use the HAM module and we would like to properly disable the Hardware Model normalization feature as we don't use it and it is messing more our data than anything else.
Do you have any recommendation?
Thank you so much,
Ben

Hello Ben!
Thank you for the question.
You can opt out of the Hardware model normalization, however we highly recommend that you create a HI ticket to look into this issue further. Because you mentioned "messing with data", I want to be very clear: hardware normalization will not make any changes to your existing data. Normalization does not write or update any existing data in the company or model tables. The product team has added a new tab to show the normalized values, and only write to a new table.
If you are seeing strange issues with your data, perhaps there is another issue at play (i.e. legacy configurations). For this reason, we would love if you create a HI ticket so that the team can delve into that ASAP.
Thank you!
