Hi Asep,
Description
Users cannot see 'Software Asset' module in Application Navigator
Cause
The Application menu 'Software Asset' might require users to have certain roles to be visible. If the users in question don't have any one of the roles configured on 'Software Asset' application menu, then it doesn't showup in the Application navigator
Resolution
- Go to Filter Navigator > Application Menus
- Search form 'Software Asset'
- Look for the roles.
- Go to the user that has the issue and add the role from Step 3
- Now, the user will be able to see 'Software Asset'
Reference : Users cannot see 'Software Asset' module in Application Navigator

Hello Asep,
I looks like in the screenshot on the left, you have the Software Asset Workspace enabled. The workspace is the new UX for SAM that was first delivered in the Rome release. Many of the functions that are included on the image on the right are now a part of the SAM Workspace. Once the Workspace is activated, many of the menu items are made available in the Workspace, and would no longer appear in the traditional navigation menu.
Once you activate the SAM Workspace on the Rome release, you'll see that the navigation menu will look similar.
Thanks,
Julian
