Hi @New Developer_S ,

As per doc, there is not direct link between software model and Catalog Items, however the catalog item has option to configure the type of catalog item via category field which is record in sc_category table.

Software Model, are type of cmdb record under product model table hierarchy.

As per your requirement, if you have any checkbox type field on Software Model table which you would like to show on catalog item form then you have to create it for each catalog item.

-Thanks,

Ashish,

May be I modify my requirement for better understanding.

This is under Service portal catalog -Software Catalog -----Catalog items - I want to apply a  Check box for ALL NEW  and existing software Catalog Items.

I know the partial solution : I want to create Variable Set which can be reused in multiple catalog items .This variable set should apply to all catalog items

I also have the answer : Go to Variable set ,We have to Go to "Included In" tab
Click Edit Button
Select the catalog in the slush bucket. You can add filter if you want to move based on a pattern
Click Save button.

This applies to existing catalog items. Now the question here is : How to apply the Check box to All catalog items ( including NEW Items under software) .Does this have anything to do with software Model here ?

is There any way to do this ?

Regards,

TIA
