The status of a normalized Discovery Model after a Discovery run

I would like to know when the normalization process is performed.
According to the documentation, the normalization process takes place when a new discovery model is created.
Let me consider the following situation.
Suppose a discovery model record is created by Discovery and it is manually normalized.
Is it possible that when Discovery is run again later, the status of the record will revert to New?
Or would this situation not occur because the normalization process only occurs when a new Discovery model is created?

The normalization status of a discovery model will NOT revert to New.  It is New only until it goes through the Normalization process at which point it will have one of the other statuses depending on the results of the normalization.

As the content library updates you will receive normalization suggestions for your discovery models.

Manually normalize a software discovery model

Note: Discovery models with a status of Normalized, Partially Normalized, or Publisher Normalized revert to the status of Match Not Found. Discovery models with a status of Manually Normalized and discovery models that have been normalized using pattern rules cannot be reverted.

Fields are reset to their original values, and any rules associated with the software discovery model are deactivated.

Thanks for the reply.

Does this mean that once a discovery model record has been manually normalized, it will not become New or Match Not Found under any circumstances?

To clarify, it will not become NEW.

It may become Match Not Found upon reverting from Manually Normalized if the normalization engine is unable to map the data discovered in your environment to anything in the content library.

In summary, is the following correct?
I understood that the status of a Discovery model that has been set to “manually normalized” will change from “manually normalized” only in the following cases.
When the Revert Normalization button is pressed.

Otherwise, the status of a manually normalized discovery model does not change from manually normalized when ServiceNow Discovery is executed.
