What is 'Classic' version of Software Asset management?
I came across the work CLASSIC here - which states 'Once you activate the workspace plugin, you cannot revert to the classic Software Asset Management application."
So whats Classic SAM and Non-classis SAM?

Hi,
Classic means in this case that it is the previously known interface. In this UI, the work takes place in the SAMP Workbench or the familiar lists/forms (ServiceNow standard, as we all know it). A video can be found here for the "classic ui" - Software Asset Management (servicenow.com)
Workspaces will be the new way of work in ServiceNow (e.g. for SAM, CMDB, HAM, ...). A good starting point are the docs (Using the Software Asset Management workspace (servicenow.com) or this video about workspaces in general - Workspace (servicenow.com)
It's right, that you can't revert the changes, but it's possible to activate the classic menu links for SAMP related tables.
Best, Dennis
