Can we remove "Popular Items" on the portal?

How can we not see the "Popular Items"on the portal?

When we open "Request Something" or "Get Help" through the portal homepage we can see the "Popular Items". Can we remove this Popular items completely. I have tried deactivating the "Popular Items" from the widget instance but can still see it.

The popular items is just a widget on the portal page.  Browse to the Service Portal Configuration > Designer and select the page the widget appears on.  Remove the widget and it will no longer appear.

Hi abowden5000, 

I tried that way by deleteing the widget- Popular Items and its not showing the categories content when I open it.

Check the screenshot below.

I had the same thing happen. Did you figure out a fix for this?

Hi Mark,

I was not able to get a solution for this. I went ahead and implemented the popular items widget. We cannot remove it unfortunately. 

Try renaming it if you want it to say something else.
