Announcements not showing

Sorry, noob to UI Builder here.

Announcements are showing (announcements-snc.png) for the Service desk landing page SNC.

But as soon as I create a variant (announcements-variant.png) I just get black boxes saying "no page collection added yet".

How do I show the announcements in the page variant?

Hi @Frank Cheung ,

What is you exact requirement, creating a new variant for OOB landing is not recommended and good practice. There are other ways to create new reports to overview port. Announcements, Upcoming tasks and quick links are different page variant those are not part of Service desk landing page SNC.

First requirement is to change the Overview Heading text. Do we not need to create a variant for Service desk landing page SNC for that?

Hi @Frank Cheung ,

Yes to change label of Overview, you have to create a variant of OOB however just duplicate the overview Viewport page instead of whole landing page. 

Follow below screenshots might help you.

1) Open the overview Viewport page using edit content right side.

2) Duplicate the subpage

3) Open the copied variant and change the overview name.

This will change the overview name and rest other options remains OOB( Announcements, Upcoming tasks and quick links)
