Hide popular Item Catalog in SOW

Hi all,

In the SOW, when I submit a create request from an incident, the catalog opens by default to "Popular Items."
Some users are restricted to only certain catalogs via User Criteria.
The category list is correctly filtered, and they only see the expected catalogs. However, the filter isn't applied to popular items, and they can still view and use these catalogs.
How can we filter the catalogs in the popular items or hide this feature by default?

Regards,

Karine

@Karine_M

It should respect the User Criteria for Catalog Item.

Another Approach

1) clone that widget

2) use script to show only those catalogs to which the logged in user has access

3) add this new widget again on your page.

If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.

Hi Ankur,

Can you tell me which widget is used by the SOW and how to update it?
I haven't found any specific configuration to select the widget in the UI builder.

I'm actualy using the standard SOW configuration for this display.

Hi @Karine_M ,

I think you need to open the records page from SOW workspace in UI builder and find it there. I don't think it will be a widget, but it might be an action button. If you can open records page from SOW workspace in UI builder and post a screenshot we can figure out.

Hi @Dhana3

In Ui Buider i can not access to the popular view :

When i edit text value we need to provide a catalogue item :

The content used is a catalog IFrame.

What i see in SOW :
