I have a requirement in Service Operations Workspace to customize the side-panel Record Information card.
The requirement is to:
- Remove the “Contact” button from the card, and
- Display the caller’s email ID and mobile phone number directly within the card.
I have tried multiple configuration approaches, including creating a duplicate variant of the existing page, but the changes are not reflecting at the form level. I have also gone through several Google articles and followed the suggested steps, but I’m still unable to achieve the expected result.
At this point, the only change that reflects on the page is the text update to the “Record Information” header. No other modifications (such as removing the Contact button or adding caller details) are visible in the workspace.
Since this functionality is available out of the box, I’m hoping someone can help with the correct working steps and configuration to achieve this requirement.
Please refer to the attached screenshot showing:
- What I am trying to configure, and
- The changes I have attempted so far.
Any guidance or a working example would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

I have already gone through these steps, but unfortunately, they haven’t been helpful. I’m able to navigate to the page, create duplicate variants, and apply the changes; however, the updates are not reflecting in the workspace. I’ve also tried clearing the UI Builder cache and performed a hard refresh, but there has been no impact on the page.
If possible, could you please try the same setup in your PDI and let me know if it works on your end? That would be really helpful.
