Template not being applied on ServiceOperations Workspace - Throws an error that template NOTApplied

Templates when applied on custom table on Service Operations Workspace, throws an error, only on creation of new record. Works fine if the record is already created. It is working fine in Classic view, but finding this issue only on Service Operations workspace.
Any help is much appreciated.

What a coincidence... I'm right now trying to solve the exact same issue. KB article points that there should be some write ACL that has a Condition of "Active is True". At least we do not have so I'm still not sure what should be done to fix this issue. @JAR3 please let me know if you happen to find the fix to this.
