The homepage for a Service Catalog provides a primary spot for ordering catalog items. Administrators can customize the design and create catalog category widgets, such as the Shopping Cart or Top Requests, to display on their page.
How to customize the Service Catalog homepage:
- Navigate to Service Catalog > Catalog.
- Click + symbol at the top of the page to add a category.
- Select a category in the middle panel of the pop-up screen.
- Click Add here where the category should appear on the homepage.
If you've created your shopping cart widget but the title is not being displayed properly in Fuji, you may need to do a manual configuration to the widget in order to view this. The title is initially controlled by cart layouts, with the system preference for the Shopping Cart widget set to false (glide.sc.use_cart_layouts). However, when you create the Shopping cart widget, you may find that your title disappears:
To fix this, you'll need to use the Editing Widget icon to view the title for this widget.
How to display the Shopping Cart widget title:
- Navigate to Service Catalog > Catalog.
- Hover over the Shopping Cart widget and click the Editing Widget gear icon:
- Check Title.
- Click Done.
This should ensure that your title stays put on your Catalog page:
