Monitor Smarter: AI Insights Now in One Place

Requirements

Family Release Australia P3
Zurich P10
Now Assist Center 4.0.2
Role sn_na_center.nac_admin

Overview

If you've been running Skills, AI Agents, and Assistants on the platform, chances are you've had to bounce between multiple consoles to get a complete picture of how your AI is performing. The Now Assist Admin console, AI Agent Studio, and Assistant Designer each had their own analytics views, which meant no single place to see what was happening across all your AI assets at once.

The Australia release changes that. All monitoring is now centralized inside the Now Assist Center under a single Monitor section. The dashboards themselves haven't changed, but they're now accessible from one place. And alongside the consolidation, there's a brand-new Business Value dashboard that provides a structured way to measure and report on the time and cost savings your AI deployments deliver.

💡 Version note: These monitoring updates are available on Zurich Patch 10 or Australia Patch 3. The sn_na_center.nac_admin role is required to access the Monitor section.

Monitoring Is Now Centralized

All analytics for Skills, AI Agents, and Assistants are now accessible from a single Monitor section inside Now Assist Center.

Navigate to All > Now Assist Center (or Workspaces > Now Assist Center).

Then select Monitor in the side navigation bar. Sharon_Barnes_0-1782504883781.png

You'll land on the Monitor page, which organizes dashboards by asset type across six tabs:

Business Value

New in this release. A consolidated view of executions, time saved, and cost saved across Skills, AI Agents, and Agentic Workflows. See the next section for details.

New: The Business Value Dashboard

The Business Value dashboard is new in this release and addresses a practical question that comes up on almost every AI deployment: what is this actually delivering? The dashboard gives you a consolidated view of executions, time saved, and cost saved across Skills, AI Agents, and Agentic Workflows.

There are three top-level metrics: total executions, total time saved, and total cost saved. Each also breaks out into monthly trend lines and per-asset bar charts, so you can see which specific skills, agents, or agentic workflows are carrying the most weight.

💡 Heads up: The dashboard is only as useful as the data you put into it. The calculations are driven by value configurations you set up, where you define the average time saved per execution and an average hourly rate for each asset. The dashboard does the math from there. Full documentation

Setting Up a Value Configuration

To add a value configuration for an asset, you'll need the sn_na_center.nac_admin role.

Here's how:

  1. Select Add configuration.
  2. Choose the Asset type and Asset name.
  3. Enter values for Average time saved per execution (min) and Average hourly rate.
  4. Save. Total time saved and total cost saved calculate automatically. The execution count (based on the last 7 days) is read-only and auto-populated.
💡 Note on currency: The currency shown reflects your instance configuration. If you need to change it, that's an instance-level setting rather than something you adjust in the dashboard itself.

Wrapping Up 🎉

Centralizing monitoring in Now Assist Center is a straightforward navigation improvement, but the Business Value dashboard is the more significant addition. Having a structured way to capture and report on time and cost savings makes it easier to demonstrate the value of your AI investments to stakeholders who care less about execution counts and more about what those executions are actually worth.

If you're on Zurich Patch 10 or Australia Patch 3, head to the Monitor section in Now Assist Center to see all your dashboards in one place, and set up value configurations to start tracking business impact.
