About Live feed Notifications

Dear Team,

When we create a live feed notification by mentioning (@username) in the work notes ;

- how does the end user receive the live feed notification ?

- I can see the live feed notifications in live feed table but I don;t see them in outbox or sent (under email notifications) . I know these are not email notifications but where do I see them if they are gone out . 

- Does an end user who does not have access to SNOW ?  Can he receive those live feed notifications ?

- Do we need configure an email notification on top of Live feed notifications for user to receive them ? or they are both not connected at all

Hi Mahendra,

User receives an email notification when someone is mentioned. You can disable this behavior by unsubscribing from the Activity Stream @Mention Email notification on your notification preferences.

Notification triggered when @Mention is mentioned with User name then system creates a notification in live_notification table which is sent. In addition, if Connect Chat is enabled a chat message shows up as well. I would highly recommend you to go through doc link that has answers for all your possible questions in detailed way.
