Hello SNow Community we have a starting homepage for most of our users and some requested to have a search box directly placed to the homepage (not Service Portal!). I cannot find a search box item by default:
Anyone idea how to add a simple search box to Homepages?
Thx and br

Hi,
I can see an OOB content block that depicts the global search. Please go to your homepage -> Add content -> Content Blocks -> Search and place it on your homepage.
Let me know if this works for you
Thanks

Hello Alikutty, i expected only the main frame:
same result as if you use the "default" global search on top right corner. Actually the "Search" content block redirects to outdated "ess" portal that is not maintained in our system. It is same as if you open /content_search.do on the instance...
You got my point?
Thx and br
