Hi,
I don't understand your question, please elaborate.
Usually you add SLA to some kind of task record, to measure how long a task takes, and do we perform within a given SLA.
What is it you want to do here?

You can create SLA for RITMs (not catalogs, not catalog items)
Just create a sla definition on RITM table as usual with conditions and it will work, if you want it to work only for RITMs created for a particular Catalog Item then you can include that in the SLA condition as well (item = XXX).
