After installing Employee Center plugins on PDI, the Employee Center seems full with bugs

(Apparently the topic is so new that I can't even select Employee Center as topic)

I installed the Employee Center and Employee Center core plugins, as described on the Docs.

It's all very weird. Soon after installing the Employee Center, I did see some the Employee Center modules in my PDI, but these seem to be related to an older Employee SERVICE Center installation for HR. (Which I installed some months ago). E.g. in the 'old' ESC menu, I even set some to-do's to false in the Menu a couple of hours ago.

The, 5 hours later, the data seems to suddenly have changed (how is this even possible)?

But, according to the docs, this supposed to be /ec with ec_dashboard as homepage, but hey. If it works, I am fine with esc as well (But does this overwrite any esc, if you have previously used ESC??)

When I try to open the Employee Center, it is full of cross-scope errors (these can be solved), but the Header??? To me it seems like there are bugs.

Perhaps the Header widget error has to do with Tasks that are not configured (even though I just inactivated tasks via the options in the Employee Center Menu record. (Note that to-do's now have changed in tasks in the Menu additional options: find_real_file.png

My questions are:

1. How to PROPERLY activate/ install Employee Center on my PDI? Without any errors!

2. Why is the Header widget failing? How to get this fixed?

Hello,

Based in the error, go to Application Restricted Caller Access (https://XXX.service-now.com/sys_restricted_caller_access_list.do?sysparm_query=status!%3D2%5EORstatus%3DNULL&sysparm_view= ) , search for all with status not equal to Allowed and change to Allowed.

It will be necessary to change the application scope you are when doing the change. Hope it helps you!

hi Annemarie,  There is now a forum dedicated to Employee Center.  Please let us know if you're still have issues with installing Employee Center on your PDI.
