Hi All,
When as an author I submit article draft I'm loosing access to further edition and publication of an article. I know that Ownership Group feature is enabled but I still should have access to publish an article as an author. This happens only when I assign article to an ownership group that I'm not a member of and I know that after publishing I will not have access to edit an article but since I'm only submitting draft I should be able to access and publish it, correct?
I will appreciate your help.

Found this kb article and looks like there is a bug that will be fixed as of Washington DC Patch 6.

The article provides a workaround with code update to an OOB script include that controls an ACL.

Hello @DariaZ ,
I am not sure but as per my knowledge, If you are not a member of ownership group and if you have limited roles, you may loss the access and publishing rights, even if you only submitting draft. But please confirm it.
Thank you!!

Hello,
Thank you for answer! What do you mean by limited roles?
I think users would still be able to see this article form and be able to publish it as per my previous experience and also I've seen similar information in forum here: https://www.servicenow.com/community/employee-center-forum/allow-contributors-access-to-draft-articl...
"If they were able to create the knowledge article, they should still have permission to see it."
