Greetings community,
I have an issue regarding SSO to our instance. We've recently set up SSO through Azure, and when our users (ITIL and non ITIL) are trying to log on to our instance, they're all redirecet to /external_logout_complete.do:
Any suggestion of why it does that? Our Identity Provider's SingleLogoutRequest is set to external_logout_complete.do. However, in our Production instance this works fairly well - so the issue only occurs in our Dev-instance.
Please let me know if I must provide any further information to give som clarify to the issue.
Best regards,
Adrian

I just want to update everyone.
We managed to resolve our External Logout issue.
The X.509 certificate on our Sandbox and DEV environment was copied from PROD.
You need unique X.509 certificates for each instance, so we our Azure admin created 2 new certificates which we then used.
Hope that helps.

I have the exact same issue after setting up SSO on DEV and Sandbox.
We have confirmation that the Azure environments are setup correctly, and HI-Support has not been able to assist.

Hi All, we have exactly the same scenario on our DEV instance - MS & ServiceNow manuals followed however, user is lead to external_logout_complete.do. Most strange thing is that this happens for all users when using IE/Edge and only for some of them when trying with Chrome. If FF is used it all works well for everyone. Another thing is that if private/incognito session is used in IE/Edge it works properly. HI-Support says configuration is fine but it seems not working properly in described scenarios.
I will post if something changes.
BR!

Hi Adrian,
What is the value for this field in your identity provider record ? . Can u also clear this and test it out.
I have configured azure sso on my dev instance and it is working fine. Initially i was facing the same issue as you mentioned but got it solved later.
Regards,
Harish M

Hi Harish,
In our configuration this property is not even configured (blank) and despite of that user is redirected to page "external_logout_complete.do" when using non-Private session in Edge and IE. Did removing value in this property help to solve it?

Alexandar
